It’s been over a year since our piece, C3 Stock Falls on Accounting Challenges, in which we looked at various accusations levied at C3 by multiple short sellers. Since then, C3 has gone out of their way to refute everything in the short reports – from explaining their naming evolution to elaborating on their relationship with Baker Hughes. Most importantly, they completed an independent investigation that concluded none of the allegations or insinuations of wrongdoing were supported by the facts. Now we’re left wondering whether the big business model changes implemented several years ago are reaping rewards yet.
